I am making the decision to resign from my salaried job as the head of the department of a large Ukrainian brand.
I buy the first tools and start learning to sew by taking information from the Internet.
December
After a month of training (suffering 24/7 at home by the sofa with leather and tools) we sell the first wallet to a friend.
We are actively looking for investments. But we find them among the circle of acquaintances.
January
With the involved investments, we purchase equipment, rent premises and hire the first master. We have the first sales and about 10 items in the assortment.
February
War. Rockets in Kyiv. We stop production and leave the war without understanding what will happen.
March
As long as the battles for Irpin and Bucha are going on. My brother and I disassemble the equipment in the workshop on Borshchagivka, some 5-10 km away from us there is fighting, in the evening I can hear machine guns.
May
We are resuming work in Alexandria. Here I would like to thank my friends who joined and became the first employees, because in the absence of funds, but with the availability of equipment and ambition, we started work practically from scratch.

We are a year old. Our first season. We grew 3 times in 2 months. Sales are going well. December, holidays are ahead. It seems to have gone. We employ 7 hourly paid craftsmen. New Year.

We spent the money on PPE for 7 craftsmen, we have a queue for a month ahead and a cash gap. Here I understood the saying "Business is life at high speed", one solution is to turn the steering wheel - a sharp turn in the wrong direction - and you flew into a ditch.
December
Our second season. A year of struggle. We have created financial reporting and planning. We have created an organizational structure and motivation for employees. We raised the prices, the margin appeared. In December, we made half as many products, with the hands of 2 craftsmen instead of 7, and set a sales record.
